Hello there! I’m Tyler…a crafty Mama with a fierce passion for ART, fabric and sewing. BabyLuxDesign.com was founded in 2006 and is considered to be my second, so called brain “child” next to Lux Interior Design, which I founded back in 2001 in my hometown, San Diego, California (www.luxinteriordesign.com)

How Did Baby Lux Get started you ask?

Well… I had always hand crafted my own baby shower gifts for friends and family over the years and by doing that I always seemed to have a running order from a friend of a friend…Oddly I had enough traction to think I just might be on to something. Upon getting pregnant with my first child (Arlin Jack) I had a deep desire to be a stay at home Mama. In months to come I quickly realized I could no longer meet the full-time demands of my interior design business. But I just knew I had to do something creative or I’d go stir crazy! So, I bugged the “hub” to whip me up a website. A place where I could share ALL my fun creations with the rest of the world. The name for my new little business was a total no brainer, I’d just scratch the word interior and add baby! Soon thereafter I was a proud stay at home Mama with not only a bouncing baby boy but Baby Lux Design.com was up and running too.
Within the first year I had branched out adding Baby Lux Design product to local boutiques around Denver where we were living at the time. I was also selling at the Cherry Creek Farmers Market on the weekends.
Now happily residing in Seattle Baby Lux Design goodies are sold online here in our web store, occasionally on Etsy and stay tuned for this years calendar of events to find Baby Lux product around Seattle
