AND... now I have the most amazingly cool transportable craft show display set up!!! I documented this weekend in pictures...you could say a I was a little excited something got built. Like I've said I've changed my mind a million times on how I was going to display my product at Summerfest. After a $12 thrift store piece of furniture fail, I quickly realized I was going to have to come up with something else. An old linen door taken down from the upstairs bathroom remodel was laying in the garage...it's now a
display is completely collapsable for easy transport.
Can you believe that's an old door sanded and cut down? and the chrome brackets are from our new floating bathroom vanity we opted not to use...which work perfect for standing the unit up and they can be c-clamped down onto the table if the extra support is needed (but as is-it's super sturdy) Hub thought of everything: keeping it light weight for me to carry it on my own with handles he put on, a latch lock to keep it closed...etc.etc.
backside of display-custom slots for wood pieces to slide in allowing a trellis: room to go up and hang a clothesline for more product :)
Test Run #1:
This display will be set on top of an 8ft.x 2ft. table resting towards the backside of the table allowing more product to be laid flat in front of the display...I plan on covering the table in a white table cloth which I can pin more things to if need be...
The anatomy of my set up (so far):
1. babyLux Toddler skirts
2. fabric slip covered wood trellis pieces for pinning fabric flowers to
3. babyLux Onesies
4. babyLux Bibs
5. Fabric Flower display
6. babyLux buntings- pinned to table cloth-front of table & on trellis
7. babyLux blankets- bundled and displayed in vintage toy cart
8. Baby LuxDesign.com sign- a recycled sign I plan on painting in chalk board paint & colorful hand writing
Fabric Flower Pin Display:
