I'll be teaching two creative workshops! The week of June 20th-24th one offering in the morning and one in the afternoon. Take one or both! Here are the workshop details!

Morning offering:

Making Stuffies with artist Tyler Larsen: Kitties, bears, bunnies, owls! How about a mouse?  A monster? Or maybe a Robot? Everybody loves a stuffy. Now you can make your very own stuffed creation. In this fun workshop you’ll learn simple pattern designing, fabric selection, cutting, piecing, and basic hand and machine sewing. Each student will leave with a cute little critter of their own. Basic machine experience is always helpful, but it is not necessary as we go about creating our new little “friends”

Here are some inspirational pics of stuffies I recently made that got the creative juices flowing for me to plan up some workshop magic. afternoon workshop:

Make Happy Flags with artist Tyler Larsen: Let the wind carry your wishes! Create a banner based on Tibetan prayer flags, where five flags are designed and strung to allow the wind to carry your intentions. In this week-long workshop, we will enter the world of mixed media art and play with fabric, paper, ribbons, beads, buttons, found art, and much more. Construction of the flags can be done in a variety of ways suiting all levels of artisans. Participants will leave with a fully strung banner of happy flags that they have designed and created themselves.

a fun mix of paint, fabric and paper on canvas....

how about we explore outside for some inspiration?! OR make a flower like this one out of coffee filters? That we paint using just our bare hands!

Let's PLaY.... Create....& have fun this summer!!!
